At the 2014 Pennsylvania College of Technology Science Festival held on February 25 at the Williamsport Campus Field House; Seewald Labs presented fun chemistry experiments to local junior high students and the general public.  The event was hosted by Penn College Outreach K-12 program.  Seewald’s presentations showed students how pH color indicators are used in the lab when adding weak acids and bases to unknown solutions.  A favorite of many, and as seen in the accompanying photos was the Milk and Soap plate demonstration.  This experiment can easily be conducted at home with common household items.  A larger scale demonstration was the infamous Elephant Toothpaste reaction.  This fun demonstration had everyone gathering around the booth for a closer look.  To learn more about the event; click here
